Tammy DeWard - Office Manager
Tammy grew up in Marysville, WA. She has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. She has lived in Arlington since 1992 and loves this town. In 2010 she met Vance and his daughter, Ashley. Vance & Tammy were married in 2011.
Tammy has worked for GTE/DC, Arlington School District, Cascade Valley Hospital, and Skagit Regional Health prior to becoming the Office Manager here at Our Saviour’s Lutheran. She enjoys working and serving people and feels what better way than in her own church!
She keeps busy in her free time baking, reading and working in the yard. Tammy loves to go to the ocean beaches with Vance to relax.
Bev Curtis - Childcare Director
Bev and her husband have two children. Her son Tyler attends Western Washington University and will be graduating soon. Her daughter Kaley graduated school at Skagit Valley Community College. I attended Everett Community College. Bev has been at Our Saviour's Childcare for 20 years and has enjoyed every minute of it. Her passion in life is children. She loves helping them learn and grow into productive young people.
Bev’s hobbies include cycling and hiking. Her favorite thing to do is hangout with family or friends. Bev’s ongoing goal is to keep improving the Childcare Center to the best of her ability.
Jennifer Ess - Preschool Director
Jennifer Ess grew up in Snohomish, WA and attended college at Eastern Washington University. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in reading and a minor in math. She has worked for several school districts as a substitute teacher before working at Our Saviour’s Preschool as the 2 Day Teacher. She was hired as the Director in 2018 and continues as 2 Day Teacher.
Jennifer and her husband Kevin have 2 children, Riley and Harper. Her children and work keep her busy, but in her spare time she enjoys running, spending time with her family, reading, and working on a variety of craft projects.
