Care Ministry Team

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.  2 Corinthians 1:3-5

This ministry will provide comfort and care to those who need support and help during a difficult time and also to recognize and celebrate special milestones and celebrations in life. This ministry will help those that may be home-bound unable to attend church on a regular basis for various reason, short term illness, recovery from surgery, death in a family etc.by:

· Assisting in providing communion in the home. Maybe arranging for soup or light meal for a short term during the recovery.

· Sending cards of caring, celebration, sympathy, milestones and birthdays.

· Being part of a prayer shawl team that will consist of people interested in knitting and crocheting who will meet to construct shawls that are prayed over and deliver to people who need comfort and caring.
